Two Hughes coached fighters in the finals....I love it!

Of course Serra blames George's loss on the eye poke.
I can't stand that guy.

Tommy Speer has a lot more room to improve.
I'm anxious to see how much better he got since the show ended.

Considering the way Hightower, War Machine and Rude Boy reacted when they were offered another Arroyo's place, I'm a little surprised that they are fighting at all. Unless they pull some rabbits out of their ass, I don't see them having long UFC careers.

And I guess that we don't get to see Bowman fighting... because he sucks?

Bowman has posted on Sherdog saying he's still rehabbing his knee which was basically completely pwned.

Guida v. Huerta is going to be a sick fight. Both guys always are looking to push the pace. Huerta is the more dynamic striker, while Guida is the better wrestler, not really sure about either guy's jiu jitsu, and both guys have great gas tanks. Huerta is a really savvy guy, I still love the move he pulled when he fought Crane looking at the monitor to see where to aim his elbows. Then you look at Guida and he's already been in with some really, really tough guys. He arguably won the Griffin fight, I haven't seen his fight with Din, and then he got his first UFC win over Aurelio.

I imagine blue is going to hammer me for this one, but I think Guida wins an exciting 3 round decision. Griffin couldn't knock him out, and Aurelio couldn't sub him. I think he minimizes the damage he takes from the feet, and wins the fight on the ground.

As I've said, I think Mac wins by sub. However he may wind up having to put Tommy to sleep, or wind having to take one of his limbs home with him to win it.

I think J-Roc probably subs War Machine.

George beats Billy by whatever, maybe sub, maybe TKO.

I don't see Crazy beating Ben unless he's really refined his game.

Arroyo probably subs Kolosci.

I hope Troy KO's the little turd.

I have no idea who wins between The Fighting Borat, or Mr. StopFilmingMeBro just as long as one of they both get nice long interviews I don't really care.

Goulet probably subs Paul.

Summary of the Finale Conference call...

Mac has been training at Randy's place, specifically names Gray Maynard, Trigg, Grove, and some others as guys he's been training with. He was also very complementary of Tommy commenting on how much he improved during the show.

Tommy says this is the first time he's really trained full time for a fight.

Guida says he'd love to fight Griffin again, and says people are mistaken if they think he's just a wrestler and a cardio guy

Huerta says he wants Sherk, and that he thinks he deserves a title shot, he says he's better than Guida at every aspect of MMA

You know me too well, Jensen. Yes, this will be the first true test for my man Roger, but I think this is his best chance to show what a great fighter he is. (And, smokin' hot. Phew.) His bjj, flexibility, stand-up, and fight smarts will win it.

as for the TUF fights, I do think Tommy will win, because no one has figured out how to solve his horse-throwing strength. Though Mac is a brilliant technician, I've yet to see him truly be tested. I think Tommy wins a bloody one.

The battle of the doo-doo - I think J-Roc redeems himself with a win over War Machine.

For the rest, George over Billy, Ben over Crazy (but let's hope that we get an interview, where he professes his love for Matt Hughes), Arroyo subs Kolocsi,
Troy does what we all want to do - beat the crap out of Hightower, Paul over Jonathan Goulet, and I have to agree with you on Dorian/Roman... let's just pray that there is an interview.

Rude TKO's the turd in 4:20 in the first. So far none of the undercard bouts have made it out of the first round, with only Barrera v. Saunders to go.

Rumor is, Rampage and Forrest are going to be announced as coaches tonight for the next season, I'm aware both are injured right now but it'll suck if another division gets screwed up like welterweight did this time.

5 oz of Pain has confirmed that Sherk has been, or will be soon stripped of his belt. Don't know if this makes BJ v. Joe Daddy for the actual strap next month.
