    Default P-Jerseys UFC divisional rankings

Obviously rankings are subjective. For my own personal rankings I am doing records in the last three years with quality wins and losses taken into account, as well who I think would win head to head.

    LW
    1. BJ Penn: quality wins over Sherk, Stevenson, Pulver with a bad loss to GSP.
    2. Sean Sherk: wins- Florian, Diaz, Franca, Griffin; losses- Penn
    3. Kenny Florian: wins- Huerta, Stevenson, Thomas, Lauzon; losses- sherk
    4. Diego Sanchez: wins- stevenson, riggs, parisyan; losses- fitch, koscheck. Sanchez is lower than florian because he has only one fight at 155, while florian has quite a few quality wins at the weight.
    5. Maynard: wins- edgar, miller, clementi; losses- none
    6. Frank Edgar: wins- griffin, franca, fisher; losses- maynard
    7. Tyson Griffin: wins- guida, aurelio, tibau, tavares; losses- sherk, edgar
    8. Joe stevenson: wins- pellegrino, tibau, edwards, guillard; losses- penn, florian, sanchez.
    9. clay guida: wins- aurelio, diaz, danzig; losses- huerta, thomas, griffin.
    10. nate diaz: wins- pellegrino, neer, robinson; losses- clay guida

    to be continued..

Well it was more than three years ago otherwise it would have been Penns strongest selling point.

Sadly, does Pulver really count as a quality win these days?

IMO, not really, but that wouldn't change the rankings either.

Yea at this point getting a win over pulver is like getting win over hughes. Not nearly as meaningful as it once was.

PJ - I think you are relying too much on the fight finder. I think the rankings are pretty good, but I would count Maynard's loss to Diaz (I imagine that was less than 3 years ago).

The top 2 guys have lost to both Hughes and GSP up a weight; for Sherk I know it was more than 3 years ago and with BJ, he went up a weight to fight those guys.

I dont think I was relying on fight finder as I have seen all the fights I mentioned although I did double check to make sure they were in the correct time frame.

Maynard lost in an unofficial two round fight when he was just a wrestler. I dont think he is anywhere near the same fighter. I think he would have his way with Diaz this time and up to this point he is undefeated. His win over Edgar is what got him the 5 spot as Edgar has looked great aside from that fight.

Penn is the champion and has decimated everyone he has beaten. Neither he or Sherk hasa ton of wins at 155 but who would you put ahead of them? Sherk beat Florian, and Sanchez only has one win at 155 and has the two losses at 170.
