As far as the heavyweight division, things are tough all over ... it's just weak overall, UFC or not. And if Overeem is juicing, he's not only not going to be in the UFC but he's also not going to fight Fedor in any other org in the US. They all are subject to testing, are they not?

The UFC wants an iron grip on every UFC fighter, and they don't want to make any exceptions. They are willing to pay him more to have the kind of controlling contract he doesn't like.

As far as copromtions and the other ideas floated by his management, I don't think anyone else gave him that so I'm sure they can get past that issue.

I guess testing is up to each state's athletic commission and each can be very different. I imagine a fight at an indian casino could set its own rules (the UFC used to fight at indian casinos when the states hadn't yet approved mma)

Also Metsfan, I think Fedor has been offended by Dana's comments. "Fedor sucks" and everything else. Dana's tried a lot of tactics to bait Fedor into coming over to the UFC (like that he needs to prove himself in the cage). It's a little late to say "I was just kidding." Fedor has silenced most of the nay sayers (I thought he should lose his #1 ranking after waiting so long to fight ranked guy). He doesn't need to do Dana any favors and althrough MMA isn't doing well outside the UFC, he can count on a good payday 2x a year in Japan I imagine.

I agree, Dana did himself in by talking so much crap about Fedor, although I did read on sherdog(I think) that Fedor wants a shot at Lesnar and may work something out.

If I was lesnar, I'd be shitting myself, because Fedor has NEVER asked for anyone, which means he will go all out on Lesnar

Fedor is about to sign his death cirtificate. Fedor, don't do it! Just continue to beat up on UFC rejects and maintain that illusion of being the world's best. Brock, Mir and the rest of the top UFC heavies want real competition and they want to prove it in the cage. Enough said.

I'd love to see Fedor in the UFC once and for all. I'm not saying he'd get beat like CroCop, Noguiera, Wanderlei, Shogun, Werdum, etc, but I am interested to see how he fares against the UFC's elite heavies.

Lets hope Mr. Dana White can finally get something signed with that management of Fedor that seems to want the world on a platter.
