Claudale, how can we both be looking at the same situation and see it so differently? Who is out there for Fedor to fight that is more appealing than Lesnar or giant slayer, Frank Mir? The Barnett fight is very intriguing, although The Baby faced assassin has already stated he's not ready for Fedor and really doesn't look like he wants any part of him.

Lesnar vs Fedor would be the ultimate fight for the last emperor. A fight against a reborn and dedicated Mir would be huge too. Fedor needs to get into the UFC if he wants to fight the best. Keep in mind the UFC is working on getting other heavies locked in, in addition to the exciting contenders they already have, (Kongo, Valesquez, etc.).

Come on Claudale, stop being naive!
    Lets go Brent!

Seriously once Fedor ko's or subs Barnett who is there really left for him to fight? There is the possibility of Oveereem but he is also in talks with the UFC.

I would love to see a Lesnar vs. Fedor fight happen one year from now.

There would be no reason for Fedor to go tot he UFC other than to make some $$. Pjers is right, after Barnett therers no one else. Fedor would lay waste to the current hwt division. Lesnar and Mir would get beaten like a couple of gangbangers is valet parking.

The matchup I would most like to see is Fedor vs. Oveereem. I strongly suspect Oveereem is juicing though. Since juicing up he has looked unstoppable.

Kongo and Valesquez are hardly fights Fedor needs. Lesnar is a challenge, but Fedor has a lot more ways to win than Lesnar does and has beaten many oversized opponents in the past. The best HWs are outside of the UFC and Fedor just beat a pair of former UFC champs.

You think Mir could beat Arlovski? Come on, Nog is way past his prime and wasn't impressive in any of his UFC fights. Mir is honestly only a challenge to people he can submit and he could not submit Fedor. When Mir said fewer than 5 people in the world could beat him in a fight, I'm pretty sure he had Fedor in mind.

I just want to know who all the heavyweights outside of the UFC are?

Sylvia got beat by two guys currently in the UFC. Arlovski is now boxing, so basically Barnett and Overeem are the only other fights for Fedor and Overeem is not in Affliction. Overall the heavyweight division is weak so there just arent a lot of options at this point.

If Fedor signed with the UFC his first fight would not be for another year. By that time Lesnar would have racked a couple of more wins and some very good experience. That would by far be the most intriguing match up for Fedor. Also by then Velasquez would be more experienced and a fight with Fedor would be interesting.

    you dudes are correct.

I wouldnt mind seeing an Overeem fight, and we still might as I dont htink he'll make it to UFC cause hes gonna have to cut out the juice and then we'll see the Overeem that Chuck KO'd back in 04 trying to fight Cain Velasquez only to get beaten.

Overeem is the most overrated guy in the world right now, and let's just say I don't think him fighting in the states is an option...if you're looking for the 250 lb. Overeem, anyway.

I think Oveereem has always had the talent. His stand up is great seen by his dominant ko of Hari and he also is good on the ground.

He struggled at 205 due to cutting weight and some mental toughness issues. He seems to be putting it together at heavyweight where he does not have to cut weight and he can juice up as much as he wants.

On a skillset level he matches up well with Fedor.
