You get no argument from me, PJ. I'm the one complimenting you for knowing how to draw attention to a topic that would be dying otherwise. Dropping thecobra's name is brilliant. Telling us all that he will be fighting again is sure to generate a buzz, even if you're making it up simply to tie into the buzz and pimp your own upcoming grappling matches. Lord knows you didn't get any attention from it on your workout blog. I bet that by tomorrow morning, the whole MMA section is speculating on if thecobra will fight again, or if you've simply had us all. At the end of the day, we'll all know that come April, you'll be in Las Vegas for a grappling tournament. We may have not even paid attention otherwise.

onto another topic, I'm in the process of strengthening my company's name brand. Now we wont allow you to use thecobra's name, (we don't own those rights) but if you can generate a buzz for us like you've done here with claiming that thecobra is going to fight, we may have a job for you in Southern California. No it's not bar-tending, (or whatever you've applied that Northwestern education to) it's in our marketing department. Review the documents I've sent you and if you have any interest in corporate America, let Old Adolf know. Your position starts at $27k per year and based on how tight you were with your funds in Las Vegas, it's a substantial pay raise for you, I'm sure..

Thank you just sparked a light bulb in my brain. It now makes sense why a 41 year old former 0-1 fighter would be looking to make a comeback after being retired for 10 years. You brought me back to my vegas visit where the poor cobra did not even have 100 dollars to his name. The guy is now forced to take fights at local vegas bars to make ends meet. Im guessing they will pay him anywhere from 300-500 dollars to serve as a sacrificial lamb to some young stud.

Hopefully thecobra will take some of my expert mma betting advice and parlay that 300 dollars into a few months rent that is if he still has a place.

He could always just tap out immediately and leave unscathed over to the next bar. Hell, the two of you could go on a tour and with your underhanded tactics and his marketability, you guys could swindle the fans and promoters alike out of millions. PJ, you may not have any honor, heart or mental strength, but you sure know how to stick it to people! Let him know asap of your plan and the two of you will be rich!

Oddly enough that coincided with the end of my wrestling days. It is crazy though that I have developed such an excellent eye for talent in such a short time and have been able to deliver pinpoint analysis and fight breakdowns. If you had not ran your mouth so much about the old days I would have thought you were a newbie as you are continually off the mark with your fight predictions.

My ability to pick up on things quickly has carried over to my training as many are in shock and awe as p-jersey has been effortlessly tapping purple belts. Dont think this has gone unnoticed as thecobra has offered to fly me out to vegas to help him and his buddy with some of their wrestling and bjj technique as they have some upcoming competition.

Claudale I have not even practiced judo but maybe Ill watch a tape or two and come teach your boys. From the looks of your pics it seems you havent stepped on a mat in awhile so they may need some strong guidance from a still athleticallyfit gifted young man like myself.
That's partly attributable to the differnce in our age and personal responsibilities.

I wrestled one day this summer and would have done it more, but the group then practiced elsewhere (as did we). I could do judo, but it would require my kids sitting in their seats after I finished to wait 1.5 hours for me. I'm considering that and I would be able to do it after March 1st, when wrestling slows down for the boys.

4 years ago, 2005 is when the wave of TUF fans came to be. Good of you to be honest about it and I understand since college kids can't pay for PPVs, especially when they don't know the fighters (not a lot of free content at the time).

The money definitely hurt in college. I would try to go to a bar sometimes but thats almost as expensive if not more. Even now it sucks having to order all the ppvs by myself.

You lied to us p jersey. I emailed thecobra and asked if in fact there is any truth to what you've posted on here and he dismissed it like yesterdays bird cage lining. He even told me that you are planning on visiting Las Vegas this coming weekend and you want to hang out with him/have him show you around, introduce you to the fighters, etc.. He said that he has no interest in even seeing you and thus has told you he will be in Florida for the weekend, (really he'll be in Vegas taking it easy). I asked him if it would be OK to reveal our email conversation and he said sure, he had no problem with it, (others like to reveal private conversations without consent, for everyone to read). He did say he wishes you the best in your up coming April won wrestling tournament.

Indeed it looks like I will be heading to vegas this weekend. The main reason is to meet up with my other friend but since thecobra has been going out of his way to try and impress me the last couple of months I am sure he will be pulling out all the stops. I know he has limited funds at this time (real estate failed him, and I think he is now doing infomercials) so like usual he will be hoping other people pay his way. I dont care too much about meeting any fighters when I am out there but I would like to get in a couple of training sessions. thecobra is an established 0-1 veteran of the sport so I am sure he is well respected and can provide some quality partners to work with.
