Freestyle is different than freestyle also. FILA changes the rules every few years, so much so, that the sport doesn't even resemble the sport that I wrestled in. Push out rule? Clinch? 3, 2 minute periods? What is this sport that they're passing off as freestyle wrestling???

And FYI, just about every single American folkstyle wrestler that competes in MMA has a freestyle back ground. Many have a greco background as well.

But that aside, when are you going to start listening to me PJ? I gave you the Hendo pick, and you still went with Franklin. I gave you the Kongo pick and you were terrified that he'd be taken down and beaten, so you didn't bet. I gave you the CB Dolloway pick over that broken leg guy from New Jersey, but you bet with your heart. You think I'm going to keep giving you free pics if you don't listen?

    Claudale I want that medal!!!
    It was more like:
20 minutes before the fight Adolf to Pjersey- "Pjersey I think you were right about Nog being old Mir will win this."
5 minutes for the fight Adolf to Pjersey- "One of my buddies who knows Mir says his back is busted bet the house on Nog."
3 minutes into the fight Adolf to Pjersey "I told you Nog is old, I think Mir is going to win."

As for Dollaway I did pick him, we all know leglace is the one that gave bad info on that. He even started a thread apologizing to me about sayign Massenzio was going to win.

You have quite the imagination there pj. Let me guess, I was texting you all of that, right? You know very well that I posted on this board how I felt Mir would do against Noguiera and the other fights I mentioned as well.

Fact is I've given you the last 5 or 6 winners and you know it. I've done the same for Claudale and not through some imaginary text messsage, (besides you don't have a cellphone) I've posted every single thing right here on these boards.

BTW, where's Claudale?? He doesn't want to part with that medal so he just stops posting here altogether? Weak Claudale

Adolf - was on the go all weekend. Went to a tri meet in PA on Saturday morning early, and then another trimeet in NJ later than day. The next day, I was in PJ-country at a tournament that was very behind schedule. So I didn't watch the PPV of affliction until late last night and I still haven't seen the HDnet portion.

I did call that wrong and if the lines hadn't tightened up, I would have lost $ too.

You think I lost to Nickerson or something? Upstate NY is the518's turf, not mine.

I just watched that fight last night. What was Vlad thinking? Didn't attempt a single takedown? He's never been submitted and just hammered Jamal Patterson on top in a fight he was losing up until that point. Looks like he quit too, covered up, went down and then sat there catching his breath.

No I dont think you lost to Nickerson, he's a couple of weight classes heavier than you.

I want the medal, I don't care what county it's from. I'll PM you instructions on where to mail it. Don't welch on me Claudale

MetsFan, thank you for pointing that out. Nicholson is one of my favorite wrestlers in division 1 college and I should at least know where he's actually from.

We haven't exchanges much dialogue here on the boards lately, how's life treating you?
