Am I getting odds? If so, the bets on, just need to agree on the amount.
Tito isn't really a whole lot better than his high school accomplishments. Lets compare him against other wrestlers in MMA.

Chuck Liddell, similar HS accomplishments as Tito, couldn't take Chuck down

Randy Couture, significantly better accomplishments than Tito, could not take Randy down

Victor Belfort, his wrestling not known to me, struggled tremendously to take him down, finally getting a TD in a wild scramble

Rashad Evans, wrestling accomplishments not as good, lost the take down battle and cost him self a penalty point in the process of trying to defend take downs.

Tito looks to be right about where he should be in terms of his wrestling and how he applies it in MMA. 5th in California state is pretty damn good.

Side note, Dan Henderson placed around 5th his senior year in California. I may be a place off or so, but the point is he wasn't in the finals and he wasn't contending for the state title.

Stephen Neal, world champion and 2 time NCAA champion at heavyweight finished 4th or 5th his senior year in California.

Jamil Kelly, Olympic freestyle silver medalist best finish in California state was 4th. he lost 1-0 against Joe Calavita who now fights MMA.

Mark and Dave Schultz only won state titles in California as seniors. I'll have to double check that one but almost certain that it's accurate

I could go on and on but you guys get the picture.

Claudale, I'll bet you my GI which was given to me by an Olympic champion. It's framed and authenticated. care to match that bet? How about the 3rd place league medal you won as a senior over there in chinoga forks?

Chinengo Forks - that's more like 518 country. As you know, some people excel after HS (Gavin last year) and other's don't like up to their expectations (David Craig so far).

My point went clearly over your head Claudale, (and that's not hard, given you're only about 8 or 9 inches taller than P Jersey). The point is that since Tito placed 5th or maybe even 6th as a senior in California, does not mean he isn't a good wrestler. He has improved since then, obviously, but we're matching him up against guys who have significantly better credentials than he does. Vlady has beaten world medalists, Olympic champions. One must conclude that Tito didn't improve to that level, rather Vlady has declined in his abilities. You tell me Claudale, maybe I'm wrong.

And about the bet, I knew you wouldn't dare part with that prized medal of yours. Wasn't Chenoga Forks, huh, perhaps Patterson, NJ?

PJ - Adolf if busting on both of us, and you turn and take Adolf's side.

My hair is flat as a piece of paper now - can't do that do anymore.

Adolf, Vlad may have decline, I agree. Probably focused too much on boxing and submissions. But that still doesn't mean he won't control whether or not this fight goes to the ground

Also PJ and I have noticed that Minimod is at it again deleted CAP posts. Wish he would just come over here for good. (of course that place is my more anonymous with more new and causal (and immature) posters)

could just be mma wrestling is different than pure wrestling and tito had a better handle on that. gsp has NO wrestling credentials and is considered one of the best, if not THE best, mma wrestlers.
