Did You Know?
That Kurt Kinser from Indiana already has a 3-0 record in MMA which it appears he did in the summer during his time there. He has a win over the first pick of the new Ultimate Fighter cast. But is this legal since this would mean he was paid while still an NCAA athlete? You can see his page here: http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Kurt-Kinser-39325

Re: Did You Know?
I didn't read the link, but if he was paid and you know how dumb the NCAA is, why would you publicize it? Are you trying to get him in trouble? There are NCAA nazis checking out everything, everywhere.
I suggest that this be deleted from the site so we don't contribute to another possible suspension.

Re: Did You Know?
NCAA Athletes can participate in pro events, they just can't accept prize money. There was an Olympic level skier on the Colorado FB team a few years back who wasn't accepting money while on the Pro Ski tour, but stopped playing FB his Senior year so he could make enough money to support his Olympic aspirations. I am pretty sure he made the Olympic team.
I assume an opening fight on small time cards don't pay that well, so Kinser wasn't forgoing a lot of dough.
On a side note, I think Kinser could be an awesome MMA fighter. He got the look and the mentality to always be going for a finish.

Re: Did You Know?
He is a real nice kid. I sat next to his mom at NCAA's, and she was a class act.
