I kinda bought into the Olympic backstory with his mom, etc., and wanted to see him do well through the Olympics and pros. I didn't follow him closely but always rooted for him and gained respect for him as someone who finally started controlling his own destiny on the business end of the sport and helping other boxers along the way. The way he's been cherry-picking these latest fights, though, made me lose a little of that respect.
LOL, yes
I liked the Olympics stuff and watched him in the beginning but just lost interest in him and boxing for awhile.

I certainly think of things like that when I write here, knowing how some of these characters are around here.

It was a tough fight to watch because they are my two favorite boxers. One thing that can be said though is that they both handled it with class.

Where's the class in quitting after promising the paying public to give them a fight? All that was missing from the Mexican star was to say "no mas".

I interpreted his sad look and silence as "no mas"
