| MMA Mod Supreme | Luckily I made my updates six minutes ago. I will tell you though ,mets, I do not feel good about tonight. Particularly about the types of victory. What you should not feel good about is the mets spending 37 mill on a closer when they have bigger fish to fry. Posted via Mobile Device |

The general consensus is that this was a pretty tough card to pick - so you're not alone. And, unfortunately, most of their fish are about the same size. I'm actually happy with that move. He wanted more money per and a 5-year deal. So, they got him for something more manageable. This was a move that had to be made and now allows the dominoes to start falling. |

MF we will have to come back to this as I think the Mets have some similarities to the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies before Gillick became the gm. If the mets can emulate the World Champion Phillies in a few ways they can potentially make the playoffs. Right now they have the stars but they need to add the role players who bring the toughness and do the little things. Also spoiler alert on tonights fights. My dreams of going 10-0 again are dashed as Cory Hill broke his leg from a kick. It sounded pretty gross. Last edited by p-jersey; 12-10-2008 at 07:08 PM. |

I just watched Kocheck punch that guy out. It was just brutal. Then afterwards they had an awareness commercial for chronic brain injury- it was ironic to say the least. Oh and the fight they showed afterwards-I forget the names of the guys but it was pretty epic. |

Brutal night of fights: Corey Hill's leg That one guy's arm Jim Miller pisspounding Wiman for 3 rounds Ben Saunders making Wolff look like the elephant man Yoshida going down like he was shot And, most hilariously, Rogan's verbal brutalization of the ref during Rhees-Bruno.
