Thread: The Ultimate Fighter 6

I think Hughes' guys just aren't listening to him.

Both Billy a few weeks ago, and Paul tonight had winnable fights, Billy didn't do anything, and then Paul talked about his jiu jitsu, and his "innovative takedowns" and then doesn't shoot, and goes and tries to strike with a striker. I mean I'll give Paul slack because he lost a close family member, I guess that could have been the reason.

Then Blake, and Dorian were just overmatched.

These two coaches kind of remind me a little bit of how BJ and Jens were last season.

With BJ, and now with Hughes if you definitely have your stuff together like Lauzon, Maynard, and Wiman last season, and then like Danzig, and apparently Jared do this season those guys can get you there. People who don't have it together they probably aren't going to do so hot.

Then Jens last year with Cole, Corey, Melendez, and maybe even Manny a little bit, and then Serra this year so far with Richie, and now Troy have shown that they can make a good match up, and maybe get a guy who's not quite on that top level of guys on the show at least into the next round.

Does anyone else find it odd that Mac is friends with Wang? Wang was one of the lazier fighters we've seen in a while, that doesn't seem to be a guy that Mac would get along with.

Oh, and the recap is up.

I thought it was definitely odd, thats why I thought the argument was so funny, its Andy Wang!

But I mean, seems like according to Danzig, Wang was one of the guys that got him into the game. Mac seems like a loyal guy, so I guess thats where it really just stems from.

I'll be interested to read his blog tomorrow.

I don't think that the idea of Hughes weeding out his weak ones is all that far off. Hughes is very competetive and thus far this Ultimate fighter seems to have a lot more weak fighters then usual. There are always a couple of guys you think shouldn't be there, but this season I don't think I have seen a guy that really belongs on either team to this point! Maybe Danzig I guess, but even with him he is a guy that has been around and never really took the next step, and I wouldn't say he has to this point either.

It very well could be that Hughes sees this and is getting rid of his dead weight so he can focus more on those guys that might actually be able to compete.

Was it me or did Paul have a crazy unorthodox stance. the guy just looked scared and uncomfortable.

Blake instigated that arguement with Mac. Mac is a d-head, but Blake is a puss.

Paul admitted to Fiore during one of the training sessions before the fight, that he didn't like to get hit, so anyone like that is probably going to be really awkward on the feet like he was.

I forgot that he did say that. Probably not the right sport for him with that attitude. Looked like he was trying to hit and run, but he def did not run fast enough on that KO hit! He looked like he got hit by a train. Can't imagine he was totally focused with the death in the family and all. At least unlike that punk Joey, Paul is heading home and plans on coming right back even though he lost.

Looks like blue's boy Crazy Barrera is going to get his ass beat by Hughes this week for beating up teammates during practice.

YAY! But doesn't he know that God wanted him and Matt to be together?
