Mac Danzig's weekly blog that covers the episodes of the show. I've read through the first three installments, and they've been pretty interesting just like Lauzon's were last year.

Apparently Mac was the guy that broke Roman's arm.

I am not a fan of Serra's but at least he had the balls to fire that douche after he quite the show. He did make Serra look bad especially if Serra fought to get him on the show.

Poor Joey, the best thing for him would be to show up at home and find is "love of a lifetime" in bed with some other douce. That would be an awsome side note to this seasons show.

Hightower runs Serra's record to 3-1 by pounding out Bowman, looked like it might be interesting there for a second, but after Bowman hit him with that knee Hightower just went nuts.

Both the things from the preview for this week were overblown, Hughes didn't just go beat the hell of his guys, he put his team through a tough practice, and he got in and went hard on them, but it wasn't anything over the top like at least I think the previews made out. Dorian wasn't near as crazy as I thought he was going to be either, glad he was able to stay on the show. The kinder gentler Dana made another appearance this week.

The previews for next week sum Danzig up really well, he's a grump, just a straight up salty dude. His saltiness kind of reminds me of Nate Diaz, and hey I liked Nate, and Danzig is my favorite guy so far this season, he's managed to put aside his saltiness at times and has reached out to try and help out not just his guys, but Scarola too.

He looks like he's going to go off on Bowman next week, but if Bowman was sitting around doing and saying dumb things I can kind of get where he's coming from. Mac seems like a real competitive guy, and if Bowman is just sitting there giggling about whatever, I might get pissed too.

One thing I've yet to see too, I remember reading that Dana said in a conference call that Hughes comes off as a major heel this season, I haven't seen it yet. I guess if you already hate Hughes you could probably find plenty to get pissed about, but I think Serra has been much worse.

Agreed, Serra has been much worse. Coming into this season, I liked Serra much better than Hughes, and now it's just the opposite. Another awful fight tonight, and another show not about fighting. Can we focus here, UFC?

Danzig is definitely my favorite guy on the show. I like the saltiness and the seriousness, and his pretty blue eyes.

Oh, and the recap is up, in case you want to read it.

They should have just bitten the bullet and brought JH on the show. He may only have been training MMA for like 2 months by the time the show started filming, but at least he's really, really good at something. Like you said, some of these fights have been absolutely brutal.

I'm sure his I want people to love me/I want people to hate me personality would have been interesting on TV too.

One last thing about this past episode, anyone else notice that Danzig looked EXACTLY like Woody Harrelson from "White Men Can't Jump" when he put the hat on with the bill flipped up during his "I hate Richie" tirade.

    So lets see...

First of all, the fact that the Danzig v. Bowman argument was over Andy the Ronin Wang thrills me to no end, that was hilarious. Yeah, Danzig probably went over the line a little bit, he even admitted that he did, but Blake brought it on himself a little bit.

He knew Andy was Mac's boy, and he just had to start running his mouth, all Mac was doing was sitting there eating his vegan food and being grumpy. I mean Blake had to know how Mac was, he can't have expected to stick his head in the lion's mouth like that and not get bit.

But then once again we got to see Mac put the anger aside and be real supportive of Paul both about his cousin, and then before and after his fight. Sucks to see a guy have to go through losing his cousin like that, the nicer Dana comes through in the clutch though.

Fight was better than the last few have been although that wasn't saying much, looked like Troy was defending that kimura by grabbing Paul's shorts. Once they got on their feet again, I mean theres really not a ton to say, Troy just straight up popped him.

Second time we've gotten a promo of "Hughes is being a hardass" be interesting to see how these next three weeks shape up, with both teams having three of their tougher guys going.
