    Haha yes I misread that.

But inregards to money liddell probably thinks that moving to heavyweight and fighting a guy he already knocked out twice could extend his career and set up a huge fight with lesnar. I'm not sure what his contract is like but if it does involve ppv percentages he would make quite a bit of money.

At 205 he is far from a title fight so his ppv percentages would not be as profitable.

Plus they were mentioning how the weight cut is harder on his body as he gets older so plays into the decision as well.

I still don't see where Lesnar fits into the equation for Liddell. Has anyone mentioned him as an opponent if, possibly, if and then some more ifs happen?

Randy was dropped by Lesnar, so he'll be dropped by Chuck for the 3rd strait time. I predict Chuck grabs the fence when Randy is about to score his only takedown and Randy ends up getting no takedowns as a result.

I think this is silly matchup - it would be one thing is Randy was the Hwt champ and Chuck was the LHT champ who had cleared out his division (like he did a few years ago). But both are coming off losses (in Chuck's case, several loses) and their last 2 fights were lame and short.

Lesnar would beat Chuck no problem. He took Randy down, he can take Chuck down and once Chuck was gnp'd, he'd be weak for the rest of the fight.

Actually, I'm surprised they don't put this in January on the date of the next Affliction event (if that ever ends up happening).

Big payday for the main event, but PPVs should be way down on any fight that happens in our afternoon.

Lesnar has dropped every UFC opponent he's ever faced, with a punch. The man clearly has heavy hands and knows how to deliver them. Maybe Chuck drops Randy, maybe he doesn't. Either way, I don't have much interest in seeing it.

Seems like a way to gets at least one more headliner fight out of two aging stars.
Putting either of these guys against someone who is either up and coming and already at that the top and it is likely that they lose and further reduce their ability to create PPVs.
This way you can promote the winner as coming of a big win.

So you are saying he dropped Mir (which I don't remember, I just remember him taking him down with ease) and Herring.

Randy needs to be able to eat a few punches from Chuck to beat him (I'm sure he'd win if he could). Last fight it seemed like if Chuck landed a single punch, it was over.
