Default Mark Cuban charged with Insider Trading

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3708124

Not good for the man. Hope it's not really true, but it seems unlikely. $750,000 seems like such a piddling amount for a billionaire.

I really don't know any thing that hasn't been printed but one wonders if all the really bad stuff he was saying about the bailout on his blog might not have come back and bit him on the ass .

From the sounds of the article they simply are targeting, at most, a couple million. Anything negative he said about the bailout (I haven't read it..) is probably true. When you pass a $700,000,000.00 bailout bill and then "Call an Audible" because something else all of the sudden got worse, you have no idea what you are doing. I don't know how Congress doesn't have to re-vote.

One could make a case that he was singled out because he did speak out against the bailout and is a very high profile person. Which goes to show that even the rich can be tamed if they step out of line.

The real question is what are they going to do when 300 million of us give them the finger and tell them to shove it?

You remember when they went after Howard Hughes before he went nuts ? I still have the video from youtube where he yells the Senator in charge to go to hell, then gets up and walks out .
