I don't make a lot of predictions, but when I do, I'm not wrong very often. Stick with me next time, and I'll give you the correct picks to the big time fights.

Lost - its still crap that Kenflo has to do that. There used to be a gif of him against Sherk showing him grab the fence with both hands, bull himself and Sherk towards the fence and pull guard that way. Of course I think Florian would have won still, but enough with the cheating.

I actually wish Florian was fighting BJ and Alves was fighting GSP - its great to see them match up, but now both have serious challengers.

I think a focused Cro Cop would beat Lesnar. As we all knew, Lesnar has the same strenghts as Randy and Randy lost his usual advantages. As others have said, Nog and Gonaga could catch him as well.

Although with Nog, maybe he should just stand with him - Nog doesn't hit that hard. Will be a boring fight of course.

I think the fights were overall better than I expected. I was sad to see Randy lose, but I think it was part of his master plan in the overall scheme of things, but that is another story. I can't wait to see Florian fight BJ, so that people will stop talking about Florian. He will be just another example why BJ is the best light weight ever.

As far aa the new champ, Nog will test him, but if Lesnar has a good game plan, he could win. LESNAR-DON'T TAKE HIM DOWN OR YOU WILL GET SUBMITTED.

I also think Gonzaga would pose problems for him as well.

Soon the talk will come about a Fedor-Lesnar fight???

Ahh, why and about what? Grabbing the fence and influencing a takedown is a big deal. Chuck did it against Randy, Sylvia did it against Assurio Silva and they may have denied them a chance to make a difference.

I'm excited about BJ - GSP, I wanted it. But both weight classes finally have an interesting contender and if BJ wins this fight, he'll screw those matches up. 6 months ago, that situation didn't exist.

Lesnar can beat pretty much any GNP wrestler, but of course I wouldn't assume someone like CC wouldn't hurt him first standing or someone like Nog wouldn't catch him. (Fedor could win in 2 ways)

The way Cro Cop has fought lately, I'm sad to say he would get demolished by Lesnar.

On to the night of fights. That was a GREAT card. Wow. I told you guys up front that the names might not have been there, but the match ups were HIGH quality. I can't think of a boring fight that I watched.

    1. Jeremy Stephens, the Upper Cut from Hell. That looked like a video game punch from Fight Night 3.

    2. Hazelett is so much fun to watch. Slick and always improving position, looking for the finish.

    3. Maia is awesome. I think Anderson is too much for him at this point, but we'll probably get a chance to see it.

    4. Lesnar is a monster. Well played by him.

    5. Kenny Florian gets better every fight we see him. He poses a threat to BJ, because he's a very good striker. I'm becoming a big fan of his, and I used to not be able to stand him.

    6. Riley-Gurgel was a fun fight, as I expected. Great for Riley, I really like the guy.

    7. Robinson-Bocek was a sick fight. Lots of action, and great win for Bocek.

    8. Matt Brown wins by submission in another exciting fight.

    9. Gonzaga demolishes his opponent in a proverbial squash match up. Even in the bad matches, it was over quick and not wasting much time. Worth my money, I'd say.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

Cro Cop I think is washed up at this point, and Brock would demolish him. You're talking about a guy who got taken down by Gonzaga and Nogueria, who arent half of the wrestlers pr physical specimens that brock is. Its not like cro-cop would really have an answer off his back either.

i was disappointed quarry couldn't keep it on the feet longer, but looking back it probably just says more about maia.

florian fighting bj is not interensting to me though he looked awesome last nite. he won't beat bj on the ground and i think bj's stand up is better. florian can win by cut or bj gassing is the way i see it

brock-couture...i picked brock to win but didn't think he looked good doing it. maybe that's b/c couture is that good and maybe i felt down b/c i didn't like seeing couture get beat up, but seeing how randy was able to move around underneath lesnar made me thing nog would sub him pretty easily. one thing i was happy to see was brock take a clean punch and not get fazed. couture isn't a huge power puncher but it at least shows brock doesn't have a glass jaw.

It took Nog more than 10 minutes to get him down and he took more abuse than most could handle up until that point. Randleman, Waterman, Coleman didn't take him down - all after the Nog fight. Neither did Yoshida or Barnett. So he really does have excellent takedown defense (or at least he did).
Correct, Gonzaga got him down without hurting him standing first and he doesn't seem to be who he was, but I wouldn't assume Lesnar would win. He'd be backing up while kicking his legs, liver and head.
