First of all, Mamed "Cannibal" Khalidov is a stud.

I'd love to see him against some of the bigger names in MMA. Again, I was impressed.

Second, Elite XC proves once again that they are minor leagues of MMA.

Mamed is kicking the crap out of Guida when they stop the fight to find Guida's mouth piece. For what seemed like at least a full minute, the ref and a second ref search the cage for Guida's mouth piece, while Guida catches his breathe. They finally find one and Guida refuses to put it in! After being threatened to be DQed, he washes off the mouth piece and the fight starts again.

Mamed quickly corners Guida and rains punches while Guida covers up until the ref steps between them and calls the fight.

Guida then sends the ref flying across the cage with a two handed push/slap to the chest.

Great entertainment value!


Again, watch out for Mamed Khalidov, a very athletic freestyle wrestler with nice spinning kicks, knees & punches. He's won his last 13 fights buy TKO or sub.

Two things:
1. This was a shoxc event so it basically is a minor league to elitexc.
2. The refs are assigned by the athletic commission so if he bungles a fight situation that is on him not the org.

Other then that I appreciate the analysis as I was not able to watch the fights.
