Boy you jumped off the Eagles bandwagon quicker than a you finished your first time having intercourse.

Don't count your ducklings before they hatch. Los Angles will be very effective back at Chavez Ravine.
    Lets go Brent!

Unfortunately I'm an eagles diehard for life. They come well before the phillies in my heart.

I won't be jumping off their wagon and picking a new team unlike you backing the regular season allstar cowboys.

Are you out of your mind? I am San Diego all the way, Chargers and Aztecs. Sure I can appreciate that Dallas is the most talented team in the league and very likely Super Bowl bound, but that doesn't mean that I don't back my San Diego teams 100%. Sure Dallas may have 5 Super Bowl titles with several more to come in the near future, but don't be surprised if San Diego snags one too

You remind me of the mets fans I beat up on. Their team had the talent but could not get it done when it mattered. I know I know you are not a cowboys fan but you seem to mention them a lot.

Sure they are talented but they have proven they struggle when it matters and a tough team like the giants will eat their heart out in the playoffs.

I don't know a lot about pro NFL American football so I rely on Google search for my stats. Cowboys do just fine in Playoffs, winning a record 5 Super Bowls, a record 8 NFC conference titles and a record20 NFC East titles. They also have the record for most playoff wins.

The Giants are a magnificent team in their own right, winning 3 super bowls and 4 NFC conference titles. They proved last season that they could in fact beat Dallas, given three oportunities to get it done. I do not claim to know the future of the NFL or how this season turns out, but to dismiss America's team is simply foolish on your part.

Tomorrow I will consult a very good friend of mine who follows the pigskin game closer than I do in order to be properly prepared for this debate. But until then, stop bringing up the Giants, lets keep talk ing about your Beagles. They played Dallas this year already and had 41 points dropped on them. You may consider jumping on Denvers bandwagon now that you've moved there. I know, I know, now you'll acuse me of bringing up the Broncos everytime we discuss American NFL football...

    Go Bolts.

Yes as a young boy I remember aikman, smith and the gang leading the team to some impressive super bowl victories. Sadly for the cowboys those studs have not been around for a long time.

The eagles are down but not out but even so I take pleasure in the fact that the cowyboys will have as many playoffs as the eagles this year.

Geez adolf I expected better of you than pulling out outdated stats and accomplishments. Soon we will get a packers fan on here talking about how the packers are the dominant team now because they run the power sweep and play so well in the cold weather.

I see you don't understand the meaning of the word tradition. The Cowboys have had several era's of excellence. I had to look it up because the names are not familiar to me but in the 70's they had a guy named Staubach who took them to glory. In the 60's, they were challenging for the world title against the packers you just mentioned. In the 80's they had Danny White, Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, Doug Cosby, Too Tall Jones and they were contending more often then not. Of ocurse you already mentioned the era of Irvin, Smith, Novacek, Johnston, Lett, Newton, Harper, etc. and now they have reloaded with the team that beat the Super Bowl champs twice last season. If you can't see the tradition of championship glory that Dallas has, that's on you PJ. Winning is nothing new in Dallas and the ownership goes out and gets the guys to get it done. Again, I do not know much more abou this subject than what I just researched on google, but I trust that what I've written here is accurate since I basically copied it from several respected NFL web sites. And don't give me no talk about Philly being down, they're doing about as well as you can expect that organization to do. They'll alway's field a decent team and every 25 years or so the planets will align and thye'll make a Super Bowl but get beat.so check back in about 2030 or so and they should be representing the NFc again.

Yes mr oliverbush I know the history of the cowboys. I also recognize this team lacks what those teams had. This team is more style than substance.

I think you proved my point perfectly when you mentioned the cowboys beat the giants twice in the regular season then got beat down in the playoffs.

The cowboys have not won a playoff game in thirteen years so its not surprising that you are reaching for the glory days of the past and reminiscing about the days of stauchbach and irvin.

Don't worry my old buddy I'm sure they will have a stellar regular season this year.
