On that we agree PJ, as they are well on their way to a magtnficent season. But enough about the most storied football team, since the inception of the superbowl, lets talk bEagles and Chargers. You guys are sitting in last place in your division and nose diving, yet again. San Diego started slow but seems to be finding its stride and getting back to playing championship style football. Will the Beagles win 8 games this year PJ, or will you be sitting at home watching the rest of the NFC East in the playoffs, while Philly prepares for 2030?

Ah yes the chargers similar to the cowboys. Plenty of talents comes up short when it matters.

Eagles have talent but also have plenty of issues. I think they will rebound and be in contention by years end.

Last thing on the cowboys. It was enjoyable the last decade as they were the laughing stock of the league. I could hardly find anyone who was a cowboys fan now with their reemergence their "fans" have crawled out of the woodwork.

Contenders by years end? PJ, I wont be able to continue this discussion with you any further. I feel a little less informed on NFL American style football, now that I have read what you just wrote. The last place Eagles have no chance of contending this year or any year in the near future. You almost sound like a Cubs fan with your optomism. But that's what's great about American sports NFL football. Even fans of teams like Cleveland, Kansas City, Buffalo, and yes, the Philadelphia Eagles, can have hope through the early part of the season, before it all collapses by Novemeber. Good luck the rest of the way PJ nd look at the broght side-at least you'll have a great pick come draft day..

Interesting, you must not get out of New Jersey much. I've just reserached and uncovered that over thepast decade, Dallas has been at the very top of merchandise sales. They have been considered the most popular team in America for decades now. I think that you are noticing the fans coming out of the woodwork, as you say, because you've finally left the nest and are realizing there is a world outside of that armpit you come from. Travel around PJ, visit some more states and you will see that this is a big country and there are Cowboys fans everywhere..just not that many where you're from. I see it all the time. Almost as many Cowboys fans here in San Diego county as there are Chargers fans. Hell, I may adopt them as my NFC team.

Haha wanna throw out dumb statistics again. Research was done on the top nfl fanbases and the Eagles were consistently were in the top three while the Cowboys were always in the 5-15 range.

Of course I am overly optimistic as I already admitted I am a diehard eagles fan so it comes with the territory. The Eagles also started 0-2 in 2003 and still made the NFC championship, the Giants were 2-3 last year and won the superbowl. Remember when the boys started off 0-2 and still won the superbowl back in the day? Please dont tell me its over after 5 games in a season.

Eagles have a pretty weak schedule outside of the NFC east. Last year they lost to the Cowboys and Redskins in the first game and won the second so its not like I am saying something that is outlandish by saying they could do the same this year.

Ha Ha good stuff. You wont find those kind of fans who have no life outside of their football team anywhere else in the country, except for the North East, I'll give you that. But I thought we were talking about who had the most fans, as in you couldn't find any Cowboys fans in NJ, while the rest of us see them every where across this great country. And to think you spent a good portion of your Saturday looking that stuff up. LoL.

You should see it out here onthe West coast PJ, where we have magnificent weather, countless things to do and beatiful women wearing next to nothing at our local beaches and evening establishemnts. We love our sports on the West Coast PJ, we just tend to watch from the comfort of our living rooms with a few babes serving us food and beverages. Or if we go to the stadium, we may show up a little early and tail gate but this dancing in the snow while wearing your shorts and tank top, you guys have us beat by a mile. The good thing for you is, you can still do that in Denver whenever your Eagles visit the mile high city. And if you tail gate out by the trash dumpsters, you wont even know you left New Jersey.

I hear ya on the babes. But if that is the case what are you wasting your saturday afternoon sitting at the computer going back and forth with the young p-jersey?

As for me I am taking in my first red river shootout, having my lovely girlfriend cook my food and make my cocktails, and a little later I am going to play a round of golf.

I am talking about the loyalty of the cowboys fans, and the twenty seconds it took me to pull up those links showed you the reality of the situation.

I have a couple good buddies in Socal so perhaps when I make my next trip out there you can show me whats its like to be a casual sports fan. Show up late, leave early, and go let the floozies use you for your money.
