Wiman is huge compared to Edgar, but i think Edgar is overalal better. I think Edgar will gas out Wiman and win a great decision. Could be a good fight, however, i never thought much of Wiman. Pellegrino vs Guida is a great match up. You can never tell what you are going to get against Kurt, but Guida will overwhelm him. i would have like to seee Diaz vs Guida. I know Diaz's ground game is amazing, but Guida would ground and pound Diaz like he has never felt before-If that even makes sense. |

I got Pelligrino over Guida. Guida is overpowering. But Pelligrino will stuff his shots and beat him on his feet. Pelligrino can also handle himself well on bottom. I think Pello has the technique. Edgar is a small 155 pounder. Typical of this kid his whole wrestling career demanding he wrestle up a weight. However, I think he does overwhelm Wiman. I really wish Edgar would go down to 145 and challenge Urijah. | |

But Uriah isn't in the UFC. Would be like Elite's champ at 170 challenging GSP

UFC trying to get Pellegrino out of there? Guida should take that fight handily. Pellegrino isn't "Cpt. Heart" to begin with, and the constant pressure of Guida will cause him to fold. Edgar over Wiman, Swick over Goulet, and Kos stops Yoshida late. I wonder what Adolph, our resident judoka, thinks of Yoshida's chances?

Nice looking card. Guida, Edgar, Kos and Goulet in an upset.

I think Metsfan is right on the contract thing. I was able to read a copy of a UFC contract and it states that they are fighting for Zuffa not the UFC. They are able to put them in any fight that Zuffa promotes. I would love to see Edgar move down and fight Uriah, he has all the tools to beat him and it would be at an exciting pace.

Edgar is always going to be undersized at 155. Sure he could pack on muscle, but why should he. He is a natural 145 pounder. Beating Urijah would do more for his career than beating gatekeeprs.
