Edgar is always going to be undersized at 155. Sure he could pack on muscle, but why should he. He is a natural 145 pounder. Beating Urijah would do more for his career than beating gatekeeprs.

Especially with the WEC dropping the upperweights and focusing on the lighter ones. Presumably that means they will be working to have the WEC viewed as the elite organization to be in for lightweights and, who knows, may eventually move the 135 & 145 divisions over to UFC. Even as it stands now, if Edgar were to beat Faber, becoming the champ of 145 in the WEC would in no way be a step down and would do nothing but help his marketability.

Sorry i was in a rush when i made this post and it came off confusing. The koscheck ufn is in december. The Pellegrino/Guida fight will be in January at an unnamed event.
