Leglace, Tito blew Frank down with takedown attempts in his first fight and Renzo was able to take him down more than once.

Although I think Tito has declined from his heyday, I think this should be pretty much a given that he beats Frank this time.

I wish we could see Shields fight some of the UFC guys. Unfortunately he will probably resign with Elitexc and then call out the UFC guys.
If the UFC exceeds Elite's offer, and Shields still decides to stay, then I would agree he should no longer call out UFC fighters.

Remember, that might be Elite's idea and the UFC does it to this day (asking Fedor to come and fight Randy). The UFC put Sherk ringside to challenge Mayweather and they used to call out Pride fighters all the time.

Dana has done cross promotions and calls out guys in other organizations; I have no problem with Shields doing it. The UFC is the elite organization and they say they want the best fighters - they should be willing to pay for them. They don't have either of the Dream GP finalists for refusing to pay more also.

Yeah, that Renzo fight was very telling. I was shocked that Renzo had his way with him in takedowns the way he did. But on the other hand, Renzo is crafty and higher skilled than Tito. Tito has 2 basic takedowns for the most part. He either tries to blast a double & snatch single. Renzo has some good judo finishes. But Tito's size may also negate all of this. I do think if tito tries to prove he can stand up with Frank, Frank wounds him and beats him. But overall, I think its an even matchup.

I could be way off and underestimating Tito. The more I think of it. Tito has 2 draws that have made him look bad in the past as well as a loss to Machida. Well it turns out his 2 draws (Evans and Griffin) were actually legit competition. And Machida was almost finished at the end, though Machida may turn out to be unbeaten for another year.

Tito beat Forrest and dominated the first round. He also dominated the first round against Rashad. I don't think Frank has what it takes to beat him.

If Tito is favored 2-1 or less, I'm betting on him

He didn't dominate last night as usual, but I'd like to see you list 10 guys at 170 in the UFC who should be ranked ahead of him
I dont know who should be ranked ahead of him but here is who I think could beat him, based off of his performance last night.

Hughes, St. Pierre, Serra, Alves, Koscheck, Sanchez, Lytle, Fitch, Swick, Parisyan. Hey its just my opinion based on what I saw last night.
