I think we are gonna bring it
Interesting fight. Nog is more experienced, and has better technical boxing and of course better bjj. Bader is the better wrestler, bigger, stronger, and better athlete. He also has power in his hands but nog does have a good chin. Jason Brilz is a tough scrappy wrestler and was able to put nog in bad positions by aggressive, physical, and using his wrestling.
Bader still seems to fight in spurts too much, and i question his conditioning a bit. I am curious to see how the affects of switching to a new camp will pay off.
PJ, where is Bader now? I'm not so sure he's bigger, I will agree he is stronger.
I don't like this matchup because I was cheering for Bader on that TUF and I liked the bond Bader formed with the bigger Nog.
Same thing with the Matt Hamill matchup with Tito (it's possible that Tito asked for that one - just speculating).
Not like these guys are #1 contenders, just seems unnecessary.
What I would like to see and I'm surprised never happened, is matches and rematches from the first season of TUF. Ignoring all the weight class issues (they were in the same class then), I'd like to see Florian rematch against Sanchez, I'd also like to see Sanchez against Leben and Quarry.
I believe he is at Lions Den right now. The group of arizona state guys (simpson, bader, dollaway) are all planning on opening their own gym in the somewhat near future.
Interesting, they just need Cain to join them and they have quite an Az Alumni. Word on the street is that Nick Frost character is working them... lol
Ken Shamrock? I like Ken, but I didn't think people would go to him to learn more about MMA who are already established.
I dont think Ken is associated with the lions den in scottsdale. They actually have a pretty good group of coaches with solid credentials.
This has nothing to do with the match, but god damn "Little Nog" is such a retarded nickname.
