yes that thread, there was nothing with the thread and if there was then no one would have responded, obviously people were cool with it.

Ha Ha hysterical, Claudale is far from worried if you'll be around to protect him from racial slurs. I do applaud you taking this strong stand once Jensens weighed in on things. Kudos on doing your job as you're told to do it. We need more moderators who follow the rules and aren't afraid to enforce them. Now if we could just get some answers instead of shutting things down, I think we'd all be better off.

Adolf I think you can stay away from all racial slurs. I enjoy coming in here and hearing your thoughts on MMA I dont want to mod any of your posts. If I do I will give you a precise explanation but for now lets forget all racial slurs I think that is fair and I know you are just witty enough to make humorous meaningful posts without them.

Collectively, we make up pretty much every ethnic group there is. A few of us have revealed more info than others, but I don't see anything wrong with the thread that was locked. Pimach was just trying to start conversation.

Only 10 people or so post here and over the past 2 years only a handful of things have needed to be deleted. No need to overpolice something that wasn't out of control to begin with.

Well I'm trying to do that. I pointed out that I wasn't using any word in a derogatory fashion, thus not a slur. As a matter of fact, I was using the word in a positive manner.

I asked if negro is OK, and my question was completely ignored while part of my post was edited for "don't push it". What is it with this fear? No one on here is putting anyone down. We all get along just fine and we harbor no visible hate toward anyone regardless of back ground. Like I said, if the rule is simply:

It's my forum and we'll do things how I want them, period

then fine we know what the rules are. But if the rule is no racial slurs, well then what does it matter to use words that aren't used in the context of hatred? Some of us who are not racist don't necessarily think negatively or hateful when some of these words are used. I find it that those who are so quick to jump up and want to be 100% PC are generally hiding something.

Pimach is part black, I have very close personal black friends, and we have a variety of back grounds on this board. I'm beginning to think that perhaps we aren't wanted here specifically because of that. This will probably be deleted so maybe I'm wasting my time with a rational response/explanation.
