UFC 108 has been an EXCELLENT card. Lots of fun.

Some good finishes, but it basically reinforced my earlier thoughts.

I'm pretty sure both the Daley-Hazelett fight and the JDS-Yvel (at least for JDS) were very important for their respective divisions. Also, Munoz and Ellenberger look like real prospects.

Not really, daley needs to beat a wrestler before he can be a serious contender in the division. Hazelett is a great submission guy but he has limited striking and limited wrestling, he tried to stand with a one dimensional striker. The fact that this was a co main event was laughable, understandable given the circumstances but laughable.

Dos Santos already proved he has good stand up, he faced a guy who is not in the top 20-25 in the heavyweight, and who is a one dimensional striker. Dos Santos did what he had to do and further established that he is a dangerous striker but no this was not a meaningful fight in the division. Dos Santos next fight will hopefully be a meaningful fight against a ranked opponent and we will learn more about his wrestling and ground game.

Exactly, Pjers. Daley was saying at the post conf that he wanted to fight a Kos or Fitch to show that he could hang

There was no title fight, the main event was lack luster. According to sherdog rankings daley and dos santos were ranked 8th, there opponents were not even included in the honorable mention. Of the other 7 fights on the card, only martin kampman was ranked (no. 9).

Daley vs. Koscheck seems like the logical play as fitch is set to fight alves.
