    Default Penn-Sanchez: The Stats...

Good. God. The takedown number is especially amazing. You figure by the law of averages, eventually one of those will work...but nope, Diego goes 0-27.

I think the 150-8 in strikes landed is the most unbelievable stat.

Diego would have been better off staying down in the first round. you could have argued he got caught but now we know he couldn't get any offense going for more than 20 minutes.

Spoken like a woman. Claudale it is exactly this line of thinking that has lead to your dismal athletic career. Now you want to project your own feelings on to guys who have true heart and mental strength. Caludale you disgust me.

0-27 in takedowns must've been collosally frustrating. I became a fan of Diego's Saturday night. It was apparent that he was not going to win the fight, but pride kept him going. He fought until the end..

Adolf, I didn't mean to say he should have quit - he showed he had the heart and determination we thought he had. I'm just saying, if he had been taken out quickly, it would have looked better than being dominated for 5 rounds.

haha claudale would you flatten out and get pinned when you got put on your back in the first 5 seconds of your wrestling matches?

Diego was outmatched from the word go. I don't know enough to say for sure, but after the first wave went awry he seemed very tentative about taking any risks with Penn. The rest of the match he either backed up or failed at securing a takedown.

It seemed that backing up was what Diego felt he had to do in order to keep the match going.(though inevitably it didn't)

He definitely is a tough guy all the same because he took a serious beating and I'm sure would have completed the fight if not for that ridiculous cut. Lot's of other fighters would have been KO'd.

I wasn't trying to suggest that Diego should have stayed down. Just saying ironically, hanging around for 5 offense free rounds hurt him more than a 30 second fight would have
