Claudale please dont insult me like that. Dont make me repost my thread that i started back in april where i stated my thoughts and predictions on schaub. From the moment the cast was announced i was over on sherdog proclaiming that schaub was going to win. Please dont be mad that i can recognize talent while guys like you and vak attack wait till guys win a title before you realize they are legit.

Overall, I thought it was a bad season
The teasers on every promo that Kimbo would be back for another fight were irritating. The constant back and forth jawing between Ramapage and Rashad was so annoying, it made me feel embarrassed that I was watching the show.
To me McSweeney was the mostly annoying guy on the show.
I was surprised how terrible UFC vets Sims and Junk looked.

I thought the fights on Weds night were pretty decent.
    some interesting matchups for Saturday.
I think Houston tears through Kimbo.
I'd put my money on Mitrione over Marcus.
I think Nelson beats Schaub, but Schaub gives a good showing.

It was a good call, but he did not look impressive in the first two fights. Lost both early almost playing possum. I imagine Nelson will take him down, if he can avoid getting stuck in a crusifix, he should be able to win.

agree with most of that. I didn't expect a heavyweight cast to make it an exciting season even though they got a lot of talented HWTs.

I wish the ref did not stop the McSweeney fight, letting Nelson pound on him for another 45 seconds. I was convinced he'd get him in that exact same position the very next round.

I think the UFC will sign McSweeney because he's English. They gave him Schoonover Saturday, almost a sure win for him (Schoonover was hammered by Big Baby)

He wanst playing possum against madsen. He knew he was going to get taken down and he knew madsen was not going to try and submit but rather smother him with good ground control. Rather than attempting futile submissions he stayed active and forced madsen to burn energy in trying to control him.

I ma not that impressed with nelsons takedowns so im interested to see how schaub is able to do defending the takedowns. I think his wrestling is better than it appeared on the show, he faced some good wrestlers and a huge monster in big baby.

I hope he wins too - but that match has even odds. I would expect Titties to be a bid underdog and I wouldn't bet on him now.

I was thinking McSweeney would be like 3-1.

Veach - Edgar is 5-1 odds. Although I think Edgar will win, Veach is a NCAA qualifier at 165 (Edgar a 4x qualifier at 141) so I think that fight will be close. Edgar has good standup too, if he didn't, I'd think that was a perfect upset opportunity.

Schaub is something like a 2.5 - 1 underdog, go with him if you think he'll win.
