Karo Parisyan Out Of UFC 106 and The UFC-Updated
According to a report on MMA Junkie, Karo Parisyan has pulled out of his UFC 106*bout with Dustin Hazelett. In a twitter message posted by UFC President Dana White just a short time ago, the sometimes outlandish executive had this to say about Parisyan:
"Karo Parisyan has [expletive] over the UFC, the fans, and his opponent again!!!" White wrote. "He will not be fighting Saturday or ever again in the UFC!!"
This is not the first time that Parisyan has pulled out of a fight on a last moment's notice. Back in August of 2008 he gave the UFC a mere one day's notice before he told them he would be unable to take on Yoshiyuki Yoshida at UFC 87.
He claimed he had hurt his back while training for the fight.
Parisyan was set to return to the octagon after a nine month layoff. He had been suspended following UFC 94 in January. He had defeated Dong Hyun Kim, but the result was later overturned to a draw as Parisyan was suspended for using painkillers without a prescription.
It is not known at this time whether or not Hazelett will remain on the card against a new opponent.
I was just informed by our very own Brian Oswald that White released another tweet, he has stated that Hazelett will be paid in full, including a win bonus.

JB has to come clean here. He pulled out of JazzFest 1999 with a sore glute.
I heart Jazzy B. White.

I pictured you as that guy Gaylord in Showboat, passing up taxis to walk because he's broke and playing it off as if it's the doctor's advice. - Clmetal

You told me both guys get paid with their win bonuses in cases like this.
Dana told Karo a long time ago he'd get a title shot (against Hughes), so Dana hasn't always done the right thing to Karo either. He's selective when it comes to who gets second chances - I think even VAK has a hard time denying that now (after telling us how badly Jesse Taylor needed to go, we watched Junie get chance after chance and then a UFC contract)

Claudale of course Karo isn't going to get paid when he pulls this type of junk. The point is Dana took care of Hazelet. As for both guys getting paid when through no fault of their own the fight doesn't happen, look no further than Nover. Come on Claudale, give some kudos to Mr. Dana White.

Lets go Brent!

will karo persian fight in ufc again
