Yes now that strikeforce has proven to be a threat (even if it is a small one) dana seems to be getting more nasty with his insults.

Yes thats why i thought it was interesting when strikeforce got fedor because dana was going to have to change his tune. He could not do it right away because as you mentioned he was alwasy complimentary of strikeforce in the past, but now he is slowly slipping in the jabs.

There is not much he can rip on them for up to this point. They have a great regional fan base and fighters from that region who are very popular ie Diaz, Le, Shamrock. They have the deals with cbs and showtime.

They have the strikeforce challengers show to build up and coming prospects like Tyron Woodley, Luke Rockhold, Cormier, Evanlalista, and Del Rosario. They are also doing a great of bringing in superstars and big names like fedor, mousasi, and possibly lashley, roger gracie, and dan henderson.

With the affiliation with dream they are able to bring in even more talent to add depth and help with the costs of things.

I don't think Fedor likes Dana and I don't think he'll be forced to fight in the UFC the way Dana thinks (that he'll have no other options). He'll always have fights in Japan.

Yea fedor has plenty of money and his legacy is already secure so i dont think he feels the need to fight in the ufc to further prove himself. With guys like Werdum, Oveereem, Roger Gracie, Lashley, and Barnett out there he will always have someone to fight in a random org.
