Shield's wrestling cred went down a level getting caught by 2 duckunders, and not hipping out of the 1st takedown before Mayhem hit him with the slam. However, his guilotine, which the goofy announcers call a banana split, did give him some points back...

OBC, it looks like the event got so so ratings. It hit 3.79 million viewers. So lets say that if the Spike event got 2.85 million or higher viewership, you win the sig bet. I have not heard a disclosure for Spike yet, but the CBS rating are out as usual. It looks like they were short about a half million viewers they expected.

I'm hearing the UFC did "Giant numbers". I've just about got the sig all worked out and we're just waiting for the official statement with regard to the viewers. You have to hand it to me leglace, I stepped up.

Adolph, I will admit, you showed moxy. I thought it was a lost cause on your part. But now I am a bit worried...

Btw, what source told you Spike had a big night?

I'm very well acquainted with an executive's niece over at Spike. I asked her to look into it for me and she said that those are released weekly but that early indications are that they were of the "giant" variety.

If you want to cut your losses now, I'll only make the sig bet for 6 months, not the whole year. Let me know before those numbers come out.

I guess we never discussed terms of the sig bet. I was thinking 3 mos. But if you want 6 mos, its your funeral, .

Looks like the 3.79 million was just a preliminary number since it didn't include the audience beyond 9-11 pm. The new figure is now 4.04 million. Its now lloking like Spike TV needs 3.95 million for save my friend Adolph from a denigrating signature. I even rounded down for ya buddy? Do you still want 6 mos?

Man 5.46 million viewers tuned in for the fedor fights. CBS ratings were up for all the key male demographics including a 117 percent increase in the 25-54.

Strikeforce and cbs has to be happy.

Jeez leglace, I didn't know you would switch numbers on me like that. I should have known! I mispoke when I said 6 months, I meant 6 weeks. Lets just leave it at that and may the better man on Saturday night win.
