Default Massenzio vs. Credeur UFN 20

A tough but winnable fight for massenzio. I am still holding out hope that he goes and trains at another gym for this fight. I took a look at his mma gym website and he is the head trainer and only one other instructor is listed and he is a wrestler as well.

He has potential and i will be rooting for him but he is limiting himself with his current training environment.

I think CAP will win, but Credeur looked really good in his last fight.

He hasn't. He has a good base of boxing and wrestling. But I can't say he has fully evolved while training in his own gym.

It looks like he's pretty good at submissions too.

The biggest letdown for a wrestler is Hamill.

He started his own school very early on and if you look at his practice schedule, they wrestle 80% of the time, and then when it's fight time, he wants to show the world how much is boxing has improved. Has the worst game plans too

I think the worst is Tim Boetsch. He doesnt even train with guys who are mma fighers. He trains with old guys he used to wrestle with in high school and college.

If these guys are really serious about the sport and have goals of being the best they need to be realistic and give themselves a chance. You need to train with guys who are going to push you, and you need coaches in the various disciplines.

If massenzio is serious about beating guys like silva, marquardt, and bisping then he needs to move beyond just training with local fighters.

Understandably the financial pressure is there to start his own gym and make a living. But a lot of fighters open gyms hire other guys to coach and do most of their training at other locations. Also the better he does and the more exposure he receives from winning in the ufc the more successful his gym would be.
