thats a pretty good assessment you got there OBC, I dont like the Belfort fight either but it also looks like that fight is not a guarantee unless AS is released by his doc to train as per a sherdog article(sorry I dont have the link) | |

Those doctor releases can be used a number of ways. I'm actually glad that's an issue. They can use that release/non release as an excuse to change things up. I would hope they did and scrapped the Victor Belfort fight for now. Get Dan the shot and put the plan into motion that I've outlined. I may upload it to Dana White's Twitter. . Hey PJ, how does one use twitter?

Looks like leglace was correct. My apologies. The sites posted it, and I took it as being true, but leglace knew better.

Kudos to you Zapp. You catch a lot of flack across several boards for rarely admitting when you are wrong. In this case, you have earned a measure of respect and no one thinks any less of you. My hat's off to you sir and I hope it is a sign of things to come.

Wow, Zapp, that was big of you. You have gained even more of my respect. In the end its bad news for all of us, but plenty more suspense for us all. |

The thing I hope Zapp understands is that it's OK to be wrong and to learn from it. It is even OK to admit it and make concessions to those who teach you or show you the way. I understand competitiveness and ego, but it really has no place once you're exposed and your position defeated. To try and hold on or simply walk away with out acknowledgment is worse than being wrong in the first place. I certainly hope that this is a sign of a change in Zapp and things to come. Once again, kudos .

![]() | InsideFights.com has also learned that Henderson and the UFC are “far apart” on contract negotiations. Henderson is asking for a contract that will make him one of the highest-paid fighters on the roster, and the UFC offer is said to be considerably lower. The key sticking point in the negotiations has been Henderson’s request for a seven-figure signing bonus.http://insidefights.com/tag/dan-henderson
