Nope, the Jason Black that was essentially undefeated at the time Aoki worked him over so badly. He was 22-1-1 with the one loss coming via a freak injury versus Shonie Carter. Again, I'm just pointing out that he has more than held his own versus a couple of much bigger, much stronger, bullying opponents.

I finally watched it - must have been like 4 seconds left when Hansen tapped. Bad idea to go for that knee as time was running out and his arm was stuck.

I think Hansen was winning at that point, but no doubt the judges would have given it to Aoki. Dream is too bias for the homecrowd favorites for my taste (worse than pride)

It is the same Jason Black that got tooled by Tavarez then. Black has not impressed me.

Calvacante is not the kind of buzzsaw Sherk and Griffen are. Both of those guys also possess good cardio and good submission defense on top of that.

I think aoki could definitely beat griffin. Griffin is solid and does have very good cardio but he has also never faced anyone as dangerous as aoki on the ground. Even if he did not get submitted i think he would be on the defensive the whole time.

Black is your basic one trick pony, a dinosaur from a more primitive time in MMA, but he was an undefeated, position-dominant fighter and Aoki absolutely manhandled him, well before Tavarez. Again, he also fought mostly at 170.

No one will call Alvarez or Calvancante small and/or weak either.

He's capable of beating very talented fighters, but the moment adversity comes into his face, he all of a sudden seems to be the victim of some illegal strike.
