    He is not leaving because of money. He might not get huge paychecks from Dana, but they are good and he will start losing all his sponsors if he does not fight and that is where his big checks come from. He is not making more doing that A-Team movie then he does in a big fight.
    The UFC only keeps good fighters by having the best competition, not by how they are treated or payouts.
    He might not want to fight Machida or Evans though...

    Pride championship? Last I checked, he never won a title fight in a ring under Pride rules. Why should he get a Pride belt for winning a fight under Unified rules? What a tool. He's been shown to be more and more of a jackass recently through his own comments. I don't really care if he wants to retire, I don't think that would be out of line, but the way he went about it? Wow.

    Wasnt the rampage vs. henderson fight hyped as a unification bout for the ufc and pride lhw championship?

    I remember Hendo being hyped as Pride champion, but don't remember if it was hyped as unification. Either way, like I said, Pride fights were organized by Pride, under Pride rules, and held in a ring.
