Almeida at 170 or is Almedia someone I never heard of. Florian - Edgar would be interesting, but I think they will give Florian an easier fiight than that. He's 0-2 in title fights (0-3 if you count TUF finale), so that would be a big risk for him Hallman - Hughes is a fight fans wanted so badly in 2002 - 2004. But Hallman couldn't string together enough decent wins to show he deserved a title shot. Hughes wins this one easily. I saw Hallman in AC against that Russian dude Anchangov (or whatever) he got the crap beat out of him big time

Almeida is dropping to 170. Florian has said he wants top fights and he is a pretty big draw so i think it would make sense and help push edgard. Hallman was recently signed so i can only imagine it is to get hughes a rematch.

Florian won't win that match; I will bet on Edgar. Probably right about Hallman. I don't think Dana wants to give him another title shot and Hughes has changed his tune about being unwilling to fight anywhere but the UFC, so I think Dana has to keep him around and this is a fight fans wanted to see years ago. You've seen the first two, right? The 2nd armbar was pretty slick. I think Hughes became more careful about slamming people about that one. Used to hoist people up like they weighed nothing

I think the Florian/Edgar fight would be a good one but i would also probably pick edgar. I think Maynard will get the next shot if he beats huerta and he deserves it but i think it will be a little too soon for him. He is still pretty new to the sport and developing, and while i think he can beat everyone else in the division i dont think he is quite ready for bj just yet. Give him another year or year and a half and i think he could have a very legitimate shot. I have seen the first two. Hallman lost to your man chalangov back in 2005, looks like he has been on a five fight win streak.

I might be able to email (or upload) his first fight for you if u can't find it. They show their first fight (very short) in the intro to their second fight. Hughes scoops him up for a fast slam and Hallman makes the transition and holds on despite the slam. The Chalangov was one of the latest stoppages I have ever seen and one of the worst beatings. Hallman kept going for subs and was getting hammered nonstop. Not sure if that DVD exists or not.
