Interesting settlement, fight one time and you are free to go.
This doesn't say Lesnar though. Both are hard matchups for him and both are risky for the UFC if he wins. (Nog is champ and Lesnar is a guy they want to build)

Right sorry I meant more of the fact that Couture returning to the UFC. With all the different rumors this just adds more credibility. Also it looks like Kongo did not accept the Lesnar fight due to a shoulder injury. I would imagine he logged onto thewrestlingtalk.com and saw Adolfs advice.

quite interesting indeed. If its a settlement that both parties can agree to then I guess its a go, let him fight Chuck again.

Wow Kongo turned it down? Juanito probably told him to forego it
PJ, my comments weren't directed at you. You seem to have confirmed the main story.
So what's the UFC's incentive? they either want Randy to lose or they want to convince Randy to stay.
I think they want him to lose and Chuck would make the most sense, although Nog in a 5 rounder would have a very good chance of pulling out a submission from the bottom no matter how much punishment was inflicted first.

Randy should have accepted the fight with nog 8 months ago then "pulled a hammy" a minute into the fight thus ending his contract with the UFC.
Randy should have thrown the fight? I can't imagine any of us would really want to see him doing that kind of stuff. He could always do that, then throw the Fedor fight too, if the money is right. Not sure we want to go in that direction with the UFC. We had enough of that with Pride.

I have to admit I was told in advance that he would reject the fight. Don't forget PJ, Old Adolf has MMA contacts in his ear, 24/7. I tried to give you guys the scoop, without coming right out and saying it. PJ, if you ask nicely, I'll tell you who Randy and Brock are fighting next. Done deal..
