Default M-1 Specifies what they mean by "co-promotion"...

    I expect an apology, Claudale:

We're not asking for more than what's fair. We're just asking for it to be a level playing field. We have the best fighter in the world. The fans want to see it... If they want to say they got the top fighter in the world, prove it. We're willing to prove it. Fedor's willing to fight anybody anytime. And he is, he's willing to fight anybody [but] on equal terms. We're not asking for more. We won't settle for less - we're not asking for more though. Fedor will fight anybody on equal terms. So if Dana believes he has the best fighters in the world then shut up or put up."

LOL - ok, it is 50/50. I was wrong, I just figured that was too insane to be true.

I never faulted the UFC for balking even if it were 10/90. Because Fedor the fighter is not equal a company (the brand name is what makes them popular, not the fighters as much (sadly))

50/50? Absolutely ridiculous. I was expecting it to be about 90/10, at least that way it wouldn't have been so insane. What are these Russinas thinking, (other than they have no interest in Fedor getting inside of a locked cage against Lesnar)?

Adolf, you might be right. They never considered the UFC and took this as a chance to reject the UFC and get his name out there.

I think that's all it was. The more we learn about what M1 wants, the more ridiculous it becomes.

I'm thinking of doing a local fundraising boxing tournament. I'm wondering if Golden Boy will co promote it with me.

    Those silly Russians... lol

They are living in a fantasy world. Now I am about at the point that I hope to see their business sink. Not like anyone really watches their events. I mean seriousy, when was the last time you told your wife you had to be home by a certain time to see the M-1 event?

They need to stick with their Business internationally. In the US, they are a 3rd tier organization.

Damn, 50/50! M-1 doesn't look like they're taking any prisoners.

It also looks like they didn't take any business classes.

My Gawd! Asking for 50/50 is as insane as demanding a fighter's likeness rights in perpetuity! I mean, who in their right mind.....?
