EliteXc CBS card looks pretty decent

I think outside of the main draw/freak show fight, there are some very talented fighters on this card.

Daley vs Shields is a good fight as Daley is possibly the best striker at 170 in the world with better than decent takedown defense and ground game. Both very talented fighter with very different strengths.

Gina Carano fights are always exciting.

Ninja Rua vs Benji Radach is another good matchup. Radach is a good striker as well as a pretty good wrestler. Rua is just a complete fighter. This is a legit matchup.

On the preliminary fights, Aina vs Berto is a great matchup. That is guaranteed to be an exciting fight. Unless of course Berto catches Aina, BJ Penn disciple, in his signature heel hook.

Cyborg is also in a good matchup with Takahashi. This will not be an easy fight.

Crafton Wallace appears to be a good addition as well.

Its ashame Noons is refusing to fight Diaz as that would have been on this card as well.

I agree, but maybe it will be a PPV main event. why give it away for free when you can sell it.

Its also a shame that Gina Carano isnt fighting Cyborg.

Besides the Main Event, I actually like the card. I always like seeing Benji fight and i have grappled with Aina before and he is well rounded. He has had some great bouts in the past and hopefully BJ will get him ready.
The Cybog and Gina fight should have happened, but I think they are going to protect Gina from a loss, just like they did Kimbo. Although, I think Shamrock will win unless he purposely throws the fight.

I am excited for Daley vs Shields... Paul is awesome and I was really sad when he announced he was retiring earlier this year. So I am happy to see Semtex fighting for the title.

I also like Radach -- I was disappointe when he lost to Horowich at the IFL grand prix finals but he is the kind of guy that seems to get tougher after losing so I hope that his fight with Ninja will be good.

Zag the only think I do not like about your post is that you are already setting your self up to look for a fixed fight. By saying Shamrock will lose only if he throws the fight you are not giving Kimbo a chance to win and if he does you already have your mind made up. Lets not forget that Kimbo is a big man with pgood punching power who is facing a way over the hill fighter who has poor striking to begin with. Kimbo is also training very hard with great coaches so he should come improved and prepared so if he wins I will not be surprised or suspect any foul place.

I am a little annoyed that Cyborg is on the undercard when Carano is on the main. I think Shields/Daley will be a good fight, too.

gjfovf - that might just be what Carano would look like after a fight with Cyborg.

And, I agree with p-jersey ... a loss by Shamrock does not automatically equate to throwing the fight. He has never had great standup, and if he stands with Kimbo, he could very well get beat - legitimately. Plus, Elite seems to encourage standup fights and if that is what they push with Ken, he could listen and very well keep it on the feet (foolishly). If he gets it to the ground and doesn't submit him, then you could possibly say he threw the fight (because he should be able to easily submit him on the ground). But a Kimbo win in itself would not mean Ken threw the fight.
