Re: LA Times Says Fedor/UFC Deal Is Done, To Be Announced Friday
I think Gonzaga is the logical choice. Big strong technical guy who's been in the big show before and who is in big need of a significant win. I think Fedor would be significant. It also doesn't disrupt the current UFC plans and we still get to see all the fights that we're looking forward to in the heavyweight division. Although Fedor would be about -600 or so, that doesn't mean he can't/won't win. If nothing else, it's a great fight to lay a little money down on. If you win, the house pays for your strip club experience after the event.

If this is true (which I kind of doubt at this point) I look for the UFC to give Fedor a somewhat easy first match, and not risk him losing and missing out the blockbuster matchup that is Fedor v. Lesnar.

Is Eddie Snachez still on the roster?

Exactly what I was thinking. Him or someone else who will damn near get himself murdered for a pay day. Lesnar/Fedor is too big to risk, IMO. That could smash PPV records, getting all of the hard core fans, the WWE fans, Japanese fans who know Fedor. Everyone who cares about MMA, even a little, really.

Put him against CC at UFC 103. I'd like that the best, mainly because i already got tickets for that fight
