Game planning PJ. I haven't taught you that yet. You do know what happens when one assumes too much, right?

The second half of a game plan is the ability to execute a gameplan. Up to this point i have seen gsp execute specific game plans much more effectively. In fact if Henderson was better at staying disciplined and executing a game plan i think he would have won fights he lost in the past.

I also think gsp has more tools than gsp which will make it easier for him to execute a disciplined gameplan against henderson.

Adolf does have a point. Dan knows that would be his game plan.

the "picking apart" (do no real damage) strategy you liked by Bisping against Leben was countered. Basically Dan said he will get in there and brawl, not just look to land and defend. He'd drop GSP with one of his bombs

And Dan does well against the top guys at 205, so . . . .

Come on claudale, gsp is a far superior fighter to bisping. Bisping was circling into the power shot and offered no threat with his wrestling. GSps wrestling would keep henderson honest, if he comes with the same strategy as he does against bisping he would be put on his back repeatedly. You recently mentioned how people only remembers fights most recent fights. Lets not forget all the times dan has relied on the right hand and didnt land it and all the times he was taken down by inferior wrestlers.

Henderson would need to clinch, clinch, and clinch some more and i dont think he has the discipline to do that.

Dan has all the advantages in this fight. He is much bigger, stronger, hits harder, has a granite chin vs a glass one and can nullify GSP's strengths with a clinch. This fight would look similar to Randy/Vitor I, (That was well before your time PJ). Dan ties GSP up and punishes him until GSP can't go on any more. Lets not be ignorant here, it's not like Dan doesn't know that GSP is ultra dangerous with his shots. In the past, Dan hasn't cared if he gets taken down, he just goes for broke. This is a fight where Dan Simply follows the game plan and wears a game but over matched GSP out.

Claudale, very astute of you to agree with my points. PJ, I'll give you that GSP is probably a pick 'em against Bisping, but a HUGE underdog against Hollywood.

Adolf you have proven on a number of occasions that you unable to put your feelings aside when analyzing a gsp fight. I think you have picked against him in his last ten fights.

Claudale is similar in that i know he does not like gsp but he also does not like technical fighters who use gameplans but rather phil baroni/tank abbott type fighters who just brawl until someone gets knocked out.

The size and strength difference would not be that big of a deal, as i mentioned previously gsp handles himself just fine against big strong guys in evans and marquardt.

Lol. I like the jaw comparisons, Adolf. PJ, I like guys to try and finish thr fight. So I like dan getting in bisping's face to land a KO more than bisping landing soft jabs and protecting himself against leben. And Dana agrees with me; u were all alone when u complimented kalib starnes for his "play it safe" strategy against Quarry.

PJ, since GSP fights so many 155 pounders, (4 fights vs Penn and Serra combined) naturally I will pull for the underdog, or American to win. I have no loyalty to France or Canada, thus there is no vested interest in me pulling for GSP.

I can do the safe picking that you so much like to do, but that's no fun. Now putting money on it is another story. The last time I lost money on GSP, is when I picked him over Serra and he promptly surrendered in the first round.

What we are doing here is breaking fights down and analyzing how they may turn out. Nothing more, nothing less. In this fight, I will be happy to give you GSP and I'll take Henderson. If it ever materializes, I will cover any amount that you can raise. You just let me know. And don't forget you picking Liddell over Rua and Leites over Silva against me. Your track record isn't exactly spotless.

Oh and BTW, taking your training partners down in practice is a far cry from taking Dan Henderson down in the cage. This is something that you will eventually learn if you continue with your MMA training.

Claudale, if Henderson and GSP were to bump into each other in the hall way and their jaws clashed, GSP would be sleeping like a child in a nursery. It's not GSP's fault, there sin't any PED that addresses weak jaws...
