I hate elite XC, Kimbo gets the worlds most dangerous can, while Brett Rodgers who constantly called Kimbo out didnt get him. Kimbo is ducking Brett IMO. I mean he has a mouth so if he wanted Brett he could have said I want Brett, and how elite XC is dependent on Kimbo they would set that up to keep their token boy happy. I mean Ken has a shot but I think Rodgers has a better shot.
Go Kimbo. Someone needs to end the train wreck that is the latter part of Shamrock's career.

This is a very smart matchup for Kimbo, IMO. In Shamrock, he faces a 'name' opponent who is well past his prime. He should have a decent opportunity to win, and might get a highlight reel KO in the process. However, I will add that Ken has a chance b/c of Kimbo's ground deficiencies.
It goes without saying that someone like Rogers would be a much more dangerous opponent. That said, this isn't about who can beat whom. This is a ratings grab and a smart one at that.
Also, this isn't Kimbo's fault. Elite is fighting for its very existence and needs matchups that will create buzz and ratings. To the hardcore set, a Rogers/Slice matchup would be interesting, but a lot less fans know who Rogers is than Shamrock.
Elite needs this next show to be a success; bringing in Shamrock helps their chances.

yea I really do like Ken chances. We all saw how crappy Kimbo ground game is. Hopefully Ken can end his career w/ a victory over Kimbo and can say he stopped one of the worst things to ever happen in MMA.
What I mean by that is I have nothing against Kimbo, he is getting paid and I would do the exact same if I was him, but Elite XC is attempting to make him the face off MMA, and many people think that now. He is on ESPN the magazine and all and for the sake of MMA this needs to stop.

Your initial post said Kimbo is ducking Rogers though and that all he has to do is open his mouth to get that fight made and he doesn't. That's a bit more negative toward Kimbto than what you're saying now.

I hope Ken knocks the piss outta him and lets pray that Mirgaliota is not the ref for this one or Ken, at the very least, needs to learn when to throw a thumbs up to keep the fight from being stopped
Ken is a big PPV draw even though he may not be in the top 100 at this point. and Ken could win too. Although Ken lost his last fight, he took a lot of hard shots before taking a dive. I've always been a Ken fan, I hope he can pull out a win
Dingo - this part is word for word what I was going to say:
Elite is fighting for its very existence and needs matchups that will create buzz and ratings

When you say "taking a dive" do you mean that in a throwing the fight sense? If so, what was the purpose of fixing a fight with Berry? I can't imagine they were building Berry up for something - he had lost 3 out of his last 4 and 4 of last 6 coming into the Shamrock fight.
And if Ken was in fact open to taking a dive against Berry, then the outcome of this Kimbo fight has now become very obvious. And we're moving quickly into WWE territory.
