It appears that Kongo had a shoulder injury prior to the Evensen fight and has since gotten surgery, so he can't take the fight now even if he wanted to.

Beleive you me, he wouldn't want to fight Lesnar, short of it being for the belt. Kongo has a lot of up side, and some real potential. No sense in feeding him to Lesnar at this point. Great call by Kongo and his management to turn that fight down.
