If they want to build him a resume then fine but overall giving him Kongo then a possible title fight makes no sense because he should be beating contenders, which I get is hard to do with the current UFC but at least make it seem believable. this is WWE type of buildup.

And, they're not really building him up to the hardcore fan - they're building him for the casual/new fan who maybe knows somewhat of guys like CroCop and the fact that this "Kongo guy" beat him. This works from that standpoint. Moreover, while not a top tier contender, I don't think it's fair to say Kongo is a can either.

I am sure that Brock is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even he is not that dumb. He should win be GnP, plus Kongo looks huge, but is still 40+ lighter, and that is a lot of weight.

He's got one fight left on his contract and a bludgeoning loss to Lesnar is no way to go out. He needs to negotiate a contract extension, with a hefty pay raise, and he needs to fight people who are going to benefit his career. He's got the look, he has produced results and he's getting better every time out. What more could the UFC want? No sense in wrecking his championship run by giving him a terrible match up at this point, save that for the title fight. Give him a better match up and lets see what he can do in the title fight.
***Attention Cheik Kongo: Reject this fight***
