    The difference between Carwin and Kongo is that Kongo is a much better technical striker then Carwin, and there's a reason Cain hasn't been tagged like that before. Cain's head movement is good enough to avoid getting hit against people who aren't great technical strikers. Carwin hits like a mack truck, but his hands aren't some whiz of striking technique.

    Kongo is a better technical striking but velasquez showed poor defense imo. Each round kongo backed up towards the cage, velasquez just walked straight forward and got hit each time. Head movement or not he failed to change up his tactics at all and still left his chin pretty exposed.

    There is a reason cain has not been tagged like that before and that reason is stojnic, morris and obrien. Average fighters with terrible striking.
