Re: Jan R Maynard
LOL. My initial response was "it's wrong, we were just talking to him in a thread about Roger" and then later I thought about his confidence on that matter.

Re: Jan R Maynard
Don't . Actually , I got my call re: the fight yesterday morning . We ( Gray and I ) were a little surprised . The call came , agreements were quickly put in place and voila! A Fight is in place . Often I am privy to things with the understanding that I hold off. I apologize if there was the impression that I misled . In all honesty I thought we had seen the last of Roger .
Gray and I just had lunch together and phone (email) was inundated with requests for confirmation . So, it was sudden .

I was just kidding, obviously you are not obligated to inform of us inside info that cant be revealed.
Clearly I also thought we had seen the last of roger, from people i had talked to who had some connections with him made it seem like he was not going to be fighting in the ufc again.

Now I know better than to trust the Jers and his BS sources.
Thank you Mr. Maynard for letting us know

Re: Jan R Maynard
Go Gray! Not that he should look past Huerta, but I think Gray wins this one decisively, which should set him up for a title shot.
Diego has to be the #1 contender and a win over Huerta, I think, would put Gray next in line.

Re: Jan R Maynard
I'm sure the UFC gave Roger the opponent they thought he'd be most likely to lose to, so Gray should win. They'll like to send Roger out with a loss. Clay outwrestled him and Gray will really out wrestle him.
what a coincidence all this was.

Kind of you ,ODH , but Gray is not at all preoccupied with Title thoughts to my knowledge . He definitely is motivated at improving his game , though . He trains his Jits religiously . His Boxing Coach , Gil Martinez is excellent .
He does not experiment in a Fight . Until he feels completely comfortable and confident he will not integrate a technique into a fight plan .
It is flattering that some of you express support for Gray and a Title Fight . However , that may be two or three fights down the road . Gray is patient . When he does fight for a Title know that he will be ready to win the Title , whoever he fights .
