Default Affliction passes on Arlovski

I don't see him in the UFC, but I'd like to see him end up there (or Dream).

He should geta few fights in dream or sengoku and then try and come back to the ufc. If he came back at this point they woudl be giving him a very lower offer.

I imagine he would take a pay cut anywhere.

I think he could beat anyone in the UFC other than Brock and maybe Cain and Carwin.

I think he'd lose to Cro Cop and Overeem outside the UFC.

No exciting matches for him left in Affliction anyways (other than Barnett).

Definitely would be taking a pay cut regardless. Affliction paid him 1.5 million for his fight with fedor.

I just think he could rack up some easy wins in dream get some confidence back and build up his value a little before coming to the ufc. Although i would be happy if the ufc signed him as i like him and the ufc heavyweight divison is thin.

They need him and he may have no where else to turn at this point.

Dana apologized for mistreating him and they hoped he'd return and now they lost CC

this right here. Dana would low ball his ass bigtime, sure he apologized for letting him go but he just got taken out 2x.

I blame Freddie Roach for the AA ko's. Damn you FR

I blame arlovskis paper mache chin. You can get away with that if you fight at 155lbs but not when you are running with the big boys.

Arlovski is damaged goods. We could excuse the first KO against Sylvia as he got caught. The Fedor loss was very suspicious, (in terms of wondering WTF happened) but it's Fedor. This last KO defeat just leaves no excuse or other option on which to judge the pit bull.

The fact is that he isn't a pit bull, he's a Chihuahua. He can't take a shot from a big man and he's fighting in the big man division. The bottom line is you cannot with good faith, pick him to win any fights where punching is involved. I've always liked him and I think he is a tremendous athlete, but he simply cannot take a big shot, (hell a medium shot).

I wash my hands of Andrei and wish for him the best. He provided many entertaining moments, but he has no place in the UFC.

He would be a good gatekeeper for the UFC. A win by Carwin or Velaquez against Arlovski would legitimize either of them as the #1 contender.

Except he can drop people too - he dropped Tim right away in the 1st two fights, dropped Paul B, . . . But I agree, he always stands with people and anyone with decent standup can take him out if they connect.

I would have to think most other Hwts would have survived that punch from Fedor, was largely defensive.
