I don't recall him wanting a title shot at 170. Everyone wants one eventually - you said Bisping wants one and he does, eventually, just not now. People that want title shots ask for them. Sanchez has expressed more interest recently than he ever has before.

He also probably knows that some of the other contenders at 155 (Maynard, Sherk, Edgar) are just as tough as the Florian and Penn, so he should fight for the belt rather than risk losing to one of those guys.
