Claudale do you think he should abandon the stand up game since he has a weak chin? There are better grapplers than him so he would on the ground as well. He lost in the first twenty seconds to rogers so we cant say he was unwilling to go to the ground. Against Fedor his best bet was to keep it standing and it was working until he got sloppy.
I agree that he needs to mix his gameplans up a bit more and keep guys off balance but that doesnt mean that boxing doenst translate to mma.
No, but I think he should be willing to take guys down and not make his gameplan so obvious. Remember, back when he beat the Porn Star, they were mainly touting his sambo skills (and he won by arm bar). He decided to stand with Rizzo the whole time and that ended up being a bad idea. Barnett did that too, but he wouldn't do that anymore (took Ivel down the first chance he got).
