Thread: Dana White: "ESPN's E:60 Was A Piece Of

My warehouse guys are covered 100% of the time that they are on my property or on the clock. We have a policy here that covers everyone. Now if you they want benefits extended beyond that, we provide them the opportunity to purchase affordable coverage. We certainly don't cover them while they are on their own time, however.

And yes, of course Dana White has been wrong. Resigning Tito Ortiz for example. That was a huge mistake, Mr. Dana White acknowledges that and he has learned a big lesson from that. Buying Pride and then realizing that it was in shambles. Another mistake. The UFC lost their a$$ on that deal and finally had to scrap the company. Dana White has made plenty of mistakes, but at the end of the day, he's made the UFC into the biggest and most recognizable MMA organization on the planet. Kudos to him.

Adolf from all the stories you've told us about how generous you are, you tell us now that you don't provide health insurance?

I'm disappointed. No wonder you Dana so much, you've adopted the same stingy business tactics. I no longer believe the Sprint balloons were Winston acting on his own.

Now wait a minute Claudale, we do provide health insurance, but we don't cover the claim, the insurance does. We provide a very affordable policy for our employees and we deduct the premium directly from their check so that there are no issues. If a claim is denied, however, we do not step in and cover the claim, (unless it happened on our property or during work hours). I ask again, why doesn't the gym insurance where Tito was injured cover the claim? Let me ask you this, if you are at a gay bar and you get your pecker caught in your zipper some how, do you turn a claim in to your employer or to your insurance carrier? And WTF are you doing at a gay bar????

you told me they were only covered in the warehouse. UFC fighters are not covered while they train for a fight. If your warehouse guys are only covered in the warehouse, than you don't provide heath insurance. Since you don't speak Spanish, perhaps you should have Consuello talk to them and explain the hardships of showing up at community health clinics and sneaking out of emergency rooms since you don't cover them in anyways.

I hope you aren't confusing workers comp with health insurance - perhaps you need to spend less time on the engineering side and more on the big picture.

Gay bar? Last night I went out to see Amy Fisher drop down to her birthday suit.

Claudale I was making a comparison. Just like the UFC, we cover our employees while they are working directly for us. When they are not on the clock or on the property, their health insurance covers them. Tito had his health insurance turn down his claim and then he wanted the UFC to pick up the bill, even though the insurance at his gym should have covered it. Same with us. I gave you the example of the gay bar. You don't turn the medical bill over to us, you turn it over to your insurance carrier. Does it work differently for you at your place of employment?

Adolf, the difference is the UFC insures you only during the fight. Not in training for it.

so you are more generous than Dana.

I was about to ask Leglace to call your warehouse (since he must speak Spanish and I wouldn't trust Scarlet Knight to give us the run down)

If I recall correctly, CAP had suggested one of the cities seediest gay bars to meet at. He said he knew it like the palm of his hand. Of course Claudale and thecobra declined and instead offered to meet at the church across the street, but CAP didn't show and was never heard from again. Perhaps he's been waiting at the gay bar all this time?

Claudale, during the fight is exactly when these fighters are working for the UFC and that's when Mr. Dana White has very selflessly provided health benefits for them.

I like you Claudale and I don't like arguing with you, but you always take the losing side of an argument and you make me feel like I'm bullying you around. I've beat down a who's who list of regulars on this board and the last, you being one of them. Old Adolf gets tired of it.
