The Cincinnati Enquirer is doing a series of reports to help readers cope with higher gas prices... including stories of how various organizations are dealing with $4.00+/gallon fuel.
I believe they will be doing a story on HS sports teams...

What impact, if any, will high fuel prices have on wrestling? Will high school and college teams curtail out-of-town trips? Participate in more triangular and quadrangular events? Hold more events on neutral ground halfway between schools?

And, what about individual wrestlers who compete at events like Fargo? Will they travel to fewer events?

There are several high profile wrestlers not in Fargo. Could that relate at all to gas prices?

I'm sure we will see a drop in tournament numbers at the youth level and high school teams will even harder pressed to attend out of state tournments over x-mas break.

With the increase in airline fairs attending Tulsa Nationals may become an every other year event.
