Default Why wrestling ISN'T the best sport

Let's look at some of the negatives of the sport and maybe discuss ways to improve on them.

Here are a few at the top of my list.....

1. skin diseases
2. improper weight management

Rash guards. Consistant daily mat cleaning. Parental involvement.

I think the biggest problem is finding a place to train and finding good partners. The down side of wrestling is that you have to deal with people and you need a wrestling mat. Its not like running or weight lifting where you can do it any time outside or at the gym on your own.

I used to worry about skin diseases with my boys, but since we started using a product called DefenseSoap, I feel they are about as safe as they can be. I found out about it on the internet and when I seen it was used in the USA Olympics training facilities I figured it had to be good. And it is. If your interested the link to the site is: http://www.defensesoap.com/

That is pure opinion, no sport is dominant or "best". And wrestling is as good as it gets.

So did I.
Karissa doing her homework ? Every time you post a picture of her wrestling I think please do NOT let her get injured -then I realize she is the one cranking away on her opponent .

Oh yea, in our house the rule is at least a 3.5 gpa or no sports

Thankfully she has been injury free other then the normal bumps and bruises.
We got the football guys in the room this week, they are so out of shape.
